Capitol Ministries was honored this week when seven U.S. Representatives and Senators added their names to the 61 Congressional sponsors of the Members Bible studies that are taught weekly to U.S. Senators and Representatives in Washington, D.C.
The new sponsors are: Rep. Rick Allen, Georgia, 12th Congressional District; Sen. Mike Rounds, South Dakota; Sen. Jeff Sessions, Alabama; Rep. Blake Farenthold, Texas, 27th Congressional District; Rep. Glenn Grothman, Wisconsin, 6th Congressional District; Rep. Gary Palmer, Alabama, 6th Congressional District; and Rep. Jackie Walorski, Indiana, 21st Congressional District.
The two very spirited, exegetically in-depth Members Bible studies are delivered every week of Session by Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries (CM). A total of 68 Congressmen now support the House study, which was established in 2010, and the Senate study, which was planted in 2015.
“We are honored to add these esteemed individuals to those who have supported the Members Bible studies for years,” Drollinger said. “It is such a blessing to count these Members as friends, as well as to serve them here on the Hill in their quest to grow spiritually in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
In addition to the weekly, personally delivered studies, Capitol Ministries also publishes 52 in-depth, attractively illustrated, 4-color Bible studies per year that examine current issues through a biblical lens, or pertain to Public Servants living successful and godly lives in the challenging environment of the Hill.
The Capitol Ministries team requests that you please pray for these individuals, for the long-time sponsors, and for the Bible study ministries.
We are also grateful for your prayers that God will open the doors to a White House ministry in 2017.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission To Create Disciples of Jesus Christ in the Political Arenas.
