State Director: Erik Yielding

Erik felt the call of God to join Capitol Ministries and build a Bible-teaching / Discipleship / Evangelism ministry in the state apitol of Arizona (Phoenix).

Erik has been a chaplain in the military and recently completed his Masters of Divinity degree. By God's design he used to work for Congressman Trent Franks and taught his children's Sunday School class at Church.

It was there that Erik expressed to Trent that he was sensing God's call to begin working with legislators on a spiritual basis – helping them to find Christ and grow to maturity in Christ. It was only natural for Trent to chat with me about this one evening during the Members Bible Study in DC. Long story short, Erik now leads a Bible study with over 10 governing authorities in Phoenix! We praise God for Erik, his wife Andrea and their four lovely children.
