With my position in my country as pastor, and the co-host of “Le Club 700”, I have been privileged to meet with some of my country’s leaders; I have been in contact with many of them, but mostly it is, ‘Hello, how are you doing?’ or, ‘Please pray for me.’ What Capitol Ministries offers is much more serious and deep, so I have something of substance to approach the members of Parliament with. Our leaders need people who can bring the Truth to them from the Bible.
Capitol Ministries has been working in partnership with Jon Cassel, Regional Director for The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), French Africa, and CBN to plant ministries in non-English-speaking African nations.
“The Bible tells us, when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn,” said Jon Cassel, Regional Director for The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), French Africa. “What we need in Africa are righteous rulers who are following biblical principles who can elevate their nations so they can honor Jesus Christ. Then the population can rejoice under righteous government.”
A new discipleship ministry to national political leaders of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea has been planted through the efforts of two industrious Capitol Ministries Global Directors who worked together from different continents!
Established Ministry Leaders and new candidates from 15 French-, Portuguese-, and English-speaking African nations will gather in Lomé, Togo this week for Capitol Ministries’ annual African Recruitment and Training Conference.
“We are so thankful for the long-time friendships and passion of CBN’s leadership to partner with us to make this happen for God’s glory and the health of these nations,” said Ralph Drollinger, President of Capitol Ministries.
