Cheyne Day

State Director, Oklahoma
As he began his ministry to Oklahoma legislators in February 2019, Dr. Cheyne Day shared his vision: “I want to serve the Lord well. I don’t want to serve a political party. I want to serve King Jesus.”

Named after the great Scottish Bible teacher Robert Murray M’Cheyne, and the son of the highly regarded OK pastor, Dr. R. Alan Day, Cheyne Day grew up steeped in the importance of evangelism. His objectives for his ministry are helping legislators grow in their faith, develop a deeper relationship with God, and expand the ministry to serve constitutional officers and judges.

“I have thought in my mind where this ministry could go, but my belief and understanding is that any success in God’s eyes will be empowered by Him. I am His vessel to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, it is not by my power, but by God’s Spirit, and I am often reminded of that.”
