Frank Carpenter

State Director, Oregon
“As you disciple an elected official, you are shaping the future of the country because God is shaping their hearts. Help them understand how to apply the Word and then God will apply His Word to the laws of the nation.” - Senator James Lankford

Inspired by the command to share the Gospel with kings and all in authority (1 Timothy 2:2; Acts 9:15), Pastor Frank Carpenter serves as Ministry Leader in Salem, teaching in-depth discipleship Bible Studies to public servants in the Oregon Capitol. He is also on the pastoral staff of Hillsboro First Baptist and founder of Hillsboro Huddle, a strategic ministry for community leaders. Pastor Carpenter received his Masters of Divinity from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary and has been in pastoral ministry for over 43 years.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 has been a personal Bible passage for most of Pastor Carpenter’s Christian walk, as it reflects his heart to want leaders, and all people, to know God in all His glory and wonder through His revelation of agape love, grace and His perfect righteousness:

Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I  delight in these things,” declares the Lord.
