Please Pray for the Launch of Several New U.S. and Overseas Ministries
Capitol Ministries is beginning 2021 by expanding Bible study-based ministries in several U.S. state capitols and one foreign nation and we ask for your prayers for these new plantings as we follow God’s leading.
Bible-teaching evangelists have been recruited to lead discipleship ministries to members of the state legislatures of Honolulu, HI and Trenton, NJ.
Before they begin, the ministry leader candidates and their wives will attend a required CapMin training conference scheduled on January 20-23 in California. In early March (10-13) several additional ministry leaders will go through the same training for new ministries scheduled to launch in St. Paul, MN and Cape Town, South Africa.
“We covet your prayers for this time together and for the success of these anticipated new capitol ministry launches” said Ralph Drollinger President and Founder of Capitol Ministries.
The lead teachers at the conference will be Drollinger and Brian Hanson, CapMin’s International Director. Pastor Hanson also co-leads a ministry to members of the Ohio legislature along with Pastor Brian Solomon.
The conference will cover the time-proved methodology for creating a discipleship Bible study to political leaders, fund-raising and recordkeeping, the value of relationship building, and the importance of exegetical teaching, pastoral care, hospitality, evangelism, and discipling public servants in Christ, among other topics.
Participants will also learn the biblical mandate that is the foundation for CapMin’s outreach to political leaders. Found in Acts 9:15, God is designating the apostle Paul’s mission: “He is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel.”
The ministerial priority of “kings” and those in authority is found throughout the Bible from the Old Testament to the New and is the subject of Drollinger’s book, Rebuilding America: A Biblical Blueprint. The book is offered at no charge at capmin.org.
Capitol Ministries is asking our prayer partners and supporters to join CapMin in praying that these new ministries will bear much fruit, and that God’s purposes will be accomplished.
“We continue to thank our Lord for raising up these dedicated and well qualified ministry leaders,” Drollinger said.
“Please be praying for CapMin and our 24-year-old objective to plant 50 ministries in all 50 U.S. state capitals and 200 foreign federal capitals throughout the world.”
