Ralph Drollinger Addresses Civic Leaders At The 18th Hillsboro, Oregon Prayer Breakfast
Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries, addressed 200 civic leaders at the 18th Annual Hillsboro, Oregon Prayer Breakfast recently, and we thought you would enjoy listening in to his taped presentation.
In a pre-recorded address, Drollinger talked about Capitol Ministries, its mission, and the newest ministry, CivicReach® which is a partnership with local churches to create ministries to city and county commissioners.
The response was so positive that Hillsboro is expected to be a site for a CivicReach® ministry in the near future.
Capitol Ministries was this year’s featured nonprofit. Every year at the Prayer Breakfast, the purpose and mission of one parachurch organization is introduced to attendees.
Pastor Frank Carpenter, former CM Ministry Leader to the Oregon Legislature who is now a member of the annual Prayer Breakfast Committee, nominated Capitol Ministries to be this year’s featured nonprofit agency. After hearing about CivicReach®, Pastor Carpenter said he is looking forward to becoming involved.
“I have had the vision in my heart to reach local civic leaders with the Word of God for some time,” he said. “I’m pretty excited about getting involved.”
Prayer Breakfast attendees included the Mayor of Hillsboro, past mayors, school board members, county officials, business leaders, church leaders, educators and members of the general public.
