Capitol Ministries Leaders Come from Around the World for D.C. Fall Training Conference
Capitol Ministries’ Global Directors and Ministry Leaders from around the world will gather in Washington D.C. this week for the annual Fall Training Conference at the newly opened Museum of The Bible.
The men and ministry couples will travel from as far away as the Pacific Islands, Africa, Peru, Romania, and Minsk, and as close by as Tennessee, Nebraska, California, and Ohio, among many other places.
For the first time, Capitol Ministries’ seven Global Directors will be meeting together.
Many of these men were named Global Directors earlier this year, and have made tremendous progress in establishing their own ministries as well as in their charge of finding godly, skilled, and experienced men to take the Gospel to the leaders of nations in their area of the world.
“We praise God for these experienced, talented, and godly men,” said Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries. “One of the most important efforts of this endeavor will be the prayers of our supporters. We ask that you pray for these men and for the success of their ministries.”
The conference includes presentations on how to successfully plant and sustain discipleship Bibles studies in political arenas, the value of discipleship and relationship building, and the importance of leading Public Servants toward maturity in Christ.
In addition to the training, speakers will include several U.S. White House Cabinet Members, Senators and Representatives.
With three Global Directors named this year, Capitol Ministries has successfully planted men in 7 of the globe’s 10 strategic geographical regions. Each Director is charged with recruiting Ministry Leaders to plant ministries in foreign federal capitols to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to political leaders in their area of the world.
Capitol Ministries is seeking leaders for the remaining unstaffed Affinity Spheres of Asia and the Caribbean.
Primary missions of Capitol Ministries are to develop 200 ministries in 200 foreign federal capitals; 50 ministries in 50 U.S. State Capitols; ministries to local leaders in 40,000 city and county governments; and additional D.C. ministries to national leaders.
As we culminate our 20th Anniversary, Capitol Ministries has enjoyed a period of high growth in 2017.
To date, we have established ministries in 43 states and 24 foreign nations. We have launched CivicReach®, a partnership with the local church to take to Gospel of Jesus Christ to city and county government leaders. In March, Capitol Ministries added a discipleship Bible study to the White House Cabinet, the first in 100 years.
“As we gather to seek God’s guidance and leading in this vital work, Danielle and I would be grateful if you would commit to covering our daily efforts in prayer throughout the conference,” Drollinger said. “There is so much at stake.”
“America has spent the last 100 years leading most of the nations into democratized forms of government and the time is right for us to build sustainable ministries in each of those locales.
“We must act now and work aggressively. There has never been a time like this in the history of the world to achieve the critical objective of fulfilling the Great Commission.”
