CM Africa Ministry Leaders Trained and Ready to Roll!
Ministries are being developed in nations across the second largest continent in the world after Bible-teaching evangelists successfully completed training at Capitol Ministries’ Africa Leaders Training Conference in Cameroun last month.
The three-day conference was held to support existing Ministry Leaders and to train new candidates in how to create and maintain successful Bible Study ministries to elected officials; the value of evangelism, discipleship, and relationship building; and the importance of leading Public Servants toward maturity in Christ.
Leading the October 25-27 training were Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries, and Brian Hanson, CM’s ministry leader to legislators in the Columbus, Ohio State Capitol.
“The need and demand for CM to plant sustainable ongoing discipleship ministries to political leaders is growing at a very, very fast clip,” Drollinger said.
“We thank God for this wide, wide open door — one that we believe will not only accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission but influence the direction of nations.”
The training conference was held in Yaoundé, Cameroun, the home country of Raymond Koffi, Capitol Ministries’ Global Director for Non-English-speaking Africa nations, who spearheaded the conference planning and organizing.
“We are grateful to the Lord God for the conference and the training received for the advancement of the kingdom,” said Koffi, who is also the co-host of the Christian Broadcasting Network’s (CBN) “Le Club 700” television show, the French equivalent of “The 700 Club” program aired in the United States. “Le Club 700” airs in French-speaking countries throughout the world.

In the past few years Capitol Ministries has established or is in the process of planting ministries in more than two dozen nations — most in Africa — in keeping with a 22-year commitment to help fulfill the Great Commission by reaching the world’s political leaders.
“Capitol Ministries is growing rapidly across the African continent,” Drollinger said. “We now have a growing ministry presence in almost half of the 51 nations on the continent.” Our plan is to continue to grow quantitatively into another dozen countries as we work to upgrade, ground and grow each individual ministry in the years ahead, Lord willing.”
“It is an interesting comparison — Africa to America: We have been laboring for 22 years to birth 50 ministries in our 50 state capitols and have established 42 state capital ministries over the last 22 years.
“In comparison, in just three years time, CM already has a growing presence in nearly two dozen capitals in Africa, albeit they are autonomous nations and not provincial capitals of the same country, but the comparison serves to illustrate the hunger for the Word of God amongst political leaders on the African continent.
