“Fearless Warriors for Christ” Launch Bible Studies to Political Leaders as God Opens Asian Nations to CapMin
We can’t tell you where because doing so would put our ministry leaders in jeopardy, but Capitol Ministries is building discipleship Bible studies for national political leaders in Asian nations that are openly hostile to Christianity.
“This is not low-hanging fruit,” said Pastor Brian Hanson, CapMin International Ministries global director. “God is opening up nations that are anti-Christian and where persecution is heavy.”
Capitol Ministries has recruited, trained, and credentialed a number of ministry leaders who have either established or are in the process of establishing weekly discipleship Bible-study ministries in several Asian nations, and the results are encouraging.
One of our newly credentialed ministry leaders knocked on the door of a high-ranking government official in a nation that has an established religion that is anti-Christian.
“He explained who he was, what Capitol Ministries does, and asked if he would be open to having a weekly Bible study for political leaders, and the government official said, yes he would,” Pastor Hanson said.
“Here is this normally hostile man who is a member of a religion that is openly anti-Christian and he is very receptive to starting a Bible study! This is not fertile ground and we are seeing God opening doors for us like crazy.”
Pastor Hanson, Ralph Drollinger, president and founder of CapMin, Danielle Drollinger, Jon Cassel, Africa global director, and other leadership members traveled to Nepal last year where they recruited and trained Bible teaching evangelists to lead weekly discipleship Bible study ministries.
At the center of these recruiting efforts is a remarkable man named Kumar Sing Praja who is a primary leader in a network of 250 biblically solid churches throughout Southeast Asia. He has always had an identical mission to CapMin’s – to create disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena – and after learning about us, he wanted to join with CapMin to expand the ministry in his part of the world.
“The Holy Spirit birthed in him the exact same vision He gave to Danielle and me a quarter of a century ago,” Drollinger said.
Kumar successfully completed the required training and was certified to lead a weekly Bible study to federal political leaders in the Kathmandu Capitol. He was also named our Asia global director, a position we have been trying to fill with the right man for many years.
In that position, Kumar is charged with expanding the ministry throughout Asia and he began recruiting immediately.
“Kumar was on fire for CapMin and reached out to his contacts to find godly men to lead Bible studies,” Pastor Hanson said. “And he was so impressed with the men God brought to him. He said the men he recruited are warriors who are fearless for the Gospel of Christ.”
We ask for your prayers for God’s protection over these men, that through their efforts successful ministries would be established throughout Asia, and that many would come to know God and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
