Partner with CapMin — America’s Public Servants Need the Word of God Now!
As the battle for the White House rages on, Scripture reminds us that as Christians, we are to be anxious for nothing because our everlasting God who is, and was, and ever shall be is on His throne.
“God reigns over the nations, God sits on His holy throne” (Psalm 47:8).
God reigns and rules and holds the very heart of the world’s leaders in His grasp.
“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes” (Proverbs 21:1).
Our faith is in Him. As God’s people, we are to remain faithful.
For Capitol Ministries, that means remaining faithful to our mission: “To make disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena throughout the world.”
Now more than ever, those who are elected to determine the trajectory of the United States of America need to know, understand, and be discipled in the Word of God.
God is our eternal hope.
Jesus gave believers the Great Commission and commanded that we teach the gospel to all the nations.
And throughout the Bible, God establishes political leaders as a priority group to reach with His Word.
This is the work we are compelled to do, and we are thankful that God has touched your heart to partner with us, not only for the sake of a public servant’s precious eternal soul, but also “so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity” (1 Timothy 2:2).
In his first term, President Donald Trump surrounded himself with mature believers, many of whom had attended Capitol Ministries Bible studies as senators and representatives.
Through those relationships, Capitol Ministries established a weekly discipleship Bible study to members of the White House Cabinet—reportedly the first in 100 years.
In September we launched a weekly Bible study to members of President Trump’s senior staff. Those two studies have been combined into ongoing weekly Zoom Bible studies at the request of participants and we pray this study will continue.
Attendance increased in both weekly studies for senators and representatives after the November 3 elections and those studies will continue.
If President Trump remains in office, Capitol Ministries will continue to build on the momentum God has graced us with and we will persist in establishing ministries to national public servants in Washington, D.C.
If President Trump is not successful, our work may become more difficult, but Capitol Ministries will persevere as we are led by God. Our work remains—no matter who is in office.
This is a time for God’s people to pray for our nation, pray for courage in our public servants, and that God’s will would be done.
We are to remain steadfast, grounded in the Word, strong, faithful, obedient, and committed to follow our Lord regardless of the chaos and confusion that surrounds us and regardless of political outcome.
May God continue to richly bless you and your families. Thank you for partnering with Capitol Ministries to fulfill the Great Commission by reaching the world’s political leaders with His Word.
And may God bless the United States of America.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).
In Him,
