Please Pray for Eastern European Recruiting Conference
This fall, the Capitol Ministries (CM) team will travel to Moscow to host a training conference for Ministry Leaders candidates who will be commissioned to reach the leaders of former Soviet Bloc countries with the Word of God.
CM is seeking Ministry Leaders for The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine.
“We are asking our supporters to pray for every step of this vital outreach mission, and especially for Pastor Oleg Rachkovski, Capitol Ministries’ Eurasia Affinity Sphere Director, who will be spearheading efforts to find qualified Ministry Leader candidates to attend the conference,” said Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries.
“Please pray that God will guide our steps as we seek to find the right men to take the Gospel to the leaders of Eastern European nations. We are so grateful for your prayers which are critical to the success of this mission.”
The outreach is especially important to CIS countries, Pastor Rachkovski said.
“Every country needs them, but because of the communist and atheist experience under the Soviet Union, our countries need in-depth disciple-making Bible ministries even more,” Pastor Rachkovski said.
The effort begins on Monday when Pastor Rachkovski will attend the Euro-Asian Baptist Federation meeting in Minsk, Belarus. Attending the conference will be leaders from member Baptist associations who are well acquainted with pastors in their countries, and have offered to refer appropriate candidates for CM to consider.
“The leaders of Belarus Baptist Union who met Ralph and Danielle Drollinger last year are already excited about Capitol Ministries’ work, and they will be helping us by encouraging the leaders from other CIS countries to support CM’s efforts,” Pastor Rachkovski said.
Ministry Leader Candidates may apply for more information electronically with the online application form: Russian | English
Drollinger has been working with professional translators to translate CM’s recruiting brochure to provide CM’s international Affinity Directors with the recruiting tools they need to attract qualified and skilled Ministry Leader candidates.
The brochure, that explains CM’s mission to help fulfill the Great Commission by reaching the leaders of nations, was translated into Russian first and will soon be translated into French and Spanish.
Additional CM recruiting conferences are being planned in Central and Latin America, as well as English- and French-speaking African nations.
“Having the recruiting brochure translated into Russian is so important to the recruitment effort because candidates may read in their native languages all about how Capitol Ministries began, its mission, its biblical mandate, and what we are looking for in Ministry Leader candidates,” said Pastor Rachkovski.
Drollinger recently announced an objective to plant 200 discipleship ministries in 200 foreign federal Capitols. To learn more about CM’s international expansion, click on the Ministries tab above, and scroll down to the Foreign Capitols tab.
