URGENT: Pray for Ukraine and CapMin Directors
Dear Friends,
We desperately need your urgent, fervent, and directed prayers for Slavik Rimski and Valeriu Ghiletchi, members of the CapMin family who were here for meetings and are attempting to return to Ukraine and their families.
Slavik, our volunteer Global Director for Eastern and Western Europe, and Valeriu, ministry leader for Members of the European Union were in California for CapMin meetings this week when Russia invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine.
CapMin is attempting to make flight arrangements so the men may return to their families and secure their safety, but the airports may be closed to domestic travel during this invasion.
Slavik and his wife have two young children. Valeriu and his wife have grown children and six grandchildren, including a newborn.
Dear friends, this is the time for us to be on our knees for our dear brothers and sisters in Christ in this hour of their great need.
Please pray for Slavik, Valeriu, and their families. Please ask God for wisdom, discernment, safe travels, protection, courage, strength, and resolve, and for God’s grace.
Please pray for God’s will in Ukraine.
Now I urge you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me (Romans 15:30).
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry came before Him, even into His ears (Psalm 18:6).
For the past two years Capitol Ministries has been building a strong infrastructure in Europe. We’ve recruited biblically reliant Bible teachers, many of whom have political experience, to key positions so that we may further the mission of CapMin to make disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arenas throughout the world.
Through weekly Bible study ministries, God’s Word is being taught to the very political leaders whose nations and people are now under great threat.
Over the years I have often thought that when world disruption occurs, the texture of the soil relative to the seed of the Word of God will change dramatically—and that our ministry will move into hyperdrive.
While we would not wish what is happening in Eastern Europe on anyone or any nation, this is the moment when we need to accelerate founding and growing ministries in the capitols throughout the world, especially in Eastern and Western Europe.
Let us unite in sobriety and purpose as we advance the Gospel to the political leaders of the world.
In Him,
Ralph Drollinger
