Where in the World are we Taking the Word of God to Political Leaders? Everywhere!
As the Great Commission commands, Capitol Ministries mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ of all the nations! (Matthew 28:16-20).
A recent and very unanticipated example of CM’s we-will-go-anywhere commitment occurred recently in the Muslim-majority nation of Iraq.
Iraq’s new constitution allows its people the freedom to practice other faiths, and Capitol Ministries has been invited there by newly converted Christian political leaders to discuss planting a sustainable, discipleship Bible study ministry to evangelize and disciple Iraqi Parliamentarians.
The immense number of opportunities for international growth was not anticipated.
“Our Lord, in His handiwork, has allowed the Capitol Ministries D.C. Bible studies to grow,” said Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries.
“Shortly after the present administration began making appointments in early 2017, the weekly CM White House Cabinet Bible study was established, which put a world-wide spotlight on the work and mission of Capitol Ministries.
“As it turns out, in His sovereign design, this opportunity has afforded Capitol Ministries an immense amount of credibility and opened doors worldwide in very short order. I had no idea just two years ago how fast our international expansion would be as a result.”
As word of Capitol Ministries’ mission spreads around the world, we are receiving numerous invitations from political leaders as well as pastors to send a Capitol Ministries contingent to discuss planting discipleship ministries in many nations.
This fall, as we pursue ministry opportunities brought about by God’s leading, we would be grateful if you would commit to praying over the destinations.
We ask that you please join us in asking God for discernment, guidance, and His will; for experienced, Bible-teaching evangelists to lead the ministries; for Christian parliamentarians and political leaders to host weekly Bible studies in the halls of government; for open doors, willing hearts and hands, and safe travels.
Please pray, specifically, for ministry opportunities in these nations:
• A ministry launched in Uruguay several months ago
• A discipleship ministry scheduled to launch in Mexico on October 12
• In Honduras, several dozen Parliamentarians are already meeting and a CM discipleship ministry is scheduled to launch on November 8
• In the fall, a ministry will launch to national political leaders in Brazil
• In Cameroun, Africa, a ministry is scheduled to begin after the CM Fall Training Conference in late October
Efforts are well underway to establish new U.S. ministry plantings to several state legislatures.
In addition, here are some of the destinations that we expect a Capitol Ministries contingent will be visiting to discuss planting ministries in the near future:
• Seoul, Korea
• New Delhi, India
• Bermuda, Ralph Drollinger will be speaking about beginning a ministry in that country at a Capitol-wide prayer breakfast in late November
• Bogota, The Republic of Colombia
• Guyana
• Latvia
• Papua New Guinea
• Tanzania, Africa
Thank you for your partnership in this ministry. We cherish your prayers which energize our efforts.
