Why CapMin Teaches “the Whole Purpose of God” to Political Leaders Across the Globe
It is paramount for Capitol Ministries to teach the “whole purpose of God” to the world’s political leaders rather than accept trendy consensus on controversial social issues.
Ralph Drollinger, CapMin president and founder, taught that concept at the recent CapMin International Training Conference in Washington, D.C. that drew 100 people world-wide.
The following excerpt is some of what Drollinger taught about why it is vital for ministry leaders to teach all of God’s Word to public servants, including what the Bible says about issues that are currently unpopular.
“Capitol Ministries is Bible centered in how we lovingly proclaim the Word of God.
“Danielle and I walk to one hundred seventy offices in six buildings handing out the Bible study for that week.
“We go into the capitol and we are there to proclaim God’s truth but we butt up against postmodernism, a concept which rejects absolute truth.
“Sometimes when the Bible study addresses a controversial issue from a biblical perspective I hear, ‘Why, Ralph, are you bringing this up? The consensus has already moved on from that concept.’
“But we at Capitol Ministries believe in God’s truth and continue to stand on that rather than what is ‘true for today.’
“God’s truth is inviolate. It’s unchangeable. We teach the truth that you know deep down inside is really true.
“You already believe what the Bible says, you are just suppressing it.
“Romans 1:20 states, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”
“God uses His truth to draw all men to Himself. That gives us the confidence to preach in the capitols.
“In Acts 20:26-27, Paul said, “ Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.”
“If I am not faithful to teach “the whole purpose of God,” it will come back to haunt me at the Bema Seat Judgment and that is sobering. I’m accountable. I will not compromise in teaching the Word of God.
“So, I ask them, do I believe what you say about the Bible, or do I believe what the Bible says about you?”
Capitol Ministries has established more than two dozen discipleship Bible studies to leaders of nations world-wide; planted 43 ministries in state capitols; and has launched ministries to local government leaders in the U.S. and foreign nations.
Drollinger teaches three separate studies every week in Washington, D.C. to members of the White House Cabinet, U.S. Senators, and U.S. Representatives.
