Dr. Peter Chamberland and the congregation of the Granite State Baptist Church in Concord, New Hampshire where he is senior pastor had a burden to minister to their state elected officials but weren’t sure how.
After learning that Capitol Ministries had been working since 1996 on the single mission to create disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena, Dr. Chamberland became CM’s ministry leader to members of the New Hampshire legislature and constitutional officers. The Granite State Baptist Church was established by Dr. Chamberland and his wife, Crystal, in 2014. Members of the congregation are active in the legislative ministry and provide prayer, support, and food for the Bible studies.
