Keith Hill
LGM Regional Director, SouthwestLGM Ministry Leader
Lockhart, Texas
Keith Hill grew up in a church-going home but did not understand the confidence we can have about going to heaven until age 20. When he first saw “I write these things to you so you can KNOW that youhave eternal life” (1 John 5:13, emphasis is Keith Hill’s), the Scripture jumped off the page. A few years later he saw 2 Timothy 2:2 lived out when an older believer came alongside him and encouraged him in the faith. That kindness planted a desire in Keith to make disciples of Jesus for the rest of his life.
After actively sharing the Gospel in the marketplace for 40 years, Keith was receptive to the vision of Capitol Ministries. Making disciples of elected officials was so clearly illustrated by the Apostle Paul’s life (Acts 9:15) that Keith sensed God’s leading to be involved. As he retired from marketing in January 2019, Keith saw that the mission field in the halls of government in central Texas was wide open.
Beginning in February 2019, Keith started a weekly LGM Bible Study with county officials in Lockhart, TX (Caldwell County). Two years later, he started reaching out to the mayor and city council members in Austin, TX. As interest in Capitol Ministries has grown across Texas, he has helped six other men begin local government ministries in Ft Worth, Houston (Montgomery County), Seguin (Metro San Antonio) along with West Texas.
Asked to become the LGM Southwest Regional Director in June 2022, Keith is now helping other men establish discipleship Bible studies
to political leaders in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana as well as Texas. He is excited to see God’s Kingdom advance as more and more doors open to the vision of evangelizing and discipling kings and all who are in authority.
Keith and his wife, Brenda have been married 43 years. They have three children in heaven and four on earth. In January 2024, their first granddaughter was born. They are loving the new season of grandparenting.
