Capitol Ministries Launches Ministry in Mexico City
November 2014
When he returns home to Mexico, Uriel Novelo will be Capitol Ministries newly approved Ministry Leader to federal officials in the capitol of his native country.
Pastor Novelo left Mexico City and a position as stockbroker in the Mexican Stock Exchange to answer a call to ministry. He and his young bride Patricia moved to Sun Valley, CA where, in 2010, Pastor Novelo earned a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary.
As a passion grew in his heart to reach federal Public Servants for Christ in his home country, Pastor Novelo contacted Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries, about working with the ministry.
The Capitol Ministries Board of Directors approved Pastor Novelo as Ministry Leader to federal Public Servants in Mexico on Nov. 8, after he completed the required 4-day training.
“I am a blessed man by having Ralph and Danielle help us in this process,” Pastor Novelo said. “We have shared so much about their vision and our desire. We are looking forward to working together as God blesses this unity for God’s advancement in Mexico.”
Pastor Novelo has a suggestion for people who love his country: “If you truly love Mexico, help its character. Allow this love to become a biblical love and partner with us and pray with us and for us that this love of yours will be like the love of God in which we bring the Gospel to Mexico.”
