Raymond Koffi
Africa, Regional DirectorPastor Koffi considers himself “a seeker of God, a disciple of Christ, and a servant in the school of service.” With faithful diligence to the Lord, his testimony reveals just that. Over the years, the pastor has passionately fulfilled many roles including teacher, lecturer, administrator, and international speaker. Each responsibility has allowed him to lead and positively impact.
Born and raised in Cameroon, he first converted to the faith as a young adult in the early 80s. Within the next few years, he was attending Bible school in Switzerland, followed by another in his home country. From there, his faith and desire to serve God only grew. Pastor Koffi went on to receive pastoral training and ordination. He earned his doctorate in theology and ministry.
Among his many ministry-based work experiences, he has acted as National Director for Christian Broadcasting Network International. For years the pastor has served as co-host of Le Club 700, the French equivalent of the 700 Club.
Additionally, as a pastor in the Cameroon National Baptist Convention, he continues to be involved with its many projects including the production of materials for evangelism and discipleship.
“By the grace of God, for over 35 years I have had the privilege of sharing the message of the Cross in various settings nationally and internationally,” Pastor Koffi says.
He and Teclaire have been married for over 45 years. The couple has been blessed with two children, several adopted children, and now with grandchildren.
In his role as Regional Director with Capitol Ministries, Pastor Koffi prays that God opens many doors for the nations of Africa. He prays for an end to political instability, corruption, and other crises through the evangelization and discipleship of Africa’s government leaders. “This method of evangelizing politicians helps shape value models in communities,” Pastor Koffi affirms. Moreover, he longs for God to “raise up more men to see the need for such a revival.” Meanwhile, he wants to make sure he does his part in “building and training workers of the Lord Jesus Christ for the end-time harvest.”
Until that day comes, Pastor Koffi will continue to equip others and himself with a continuing knowledge of Christ. He already has a yearly goal of reading the entirety of Scripture once or twice a year. Through CapMin, he can encourage political leaders to do the same. Actions are an overflow of what’s in a man’s heart. Therefore, Pastor Koffi wants to ensure each public servant he disciples has a heart set on Christ.
