CM Fall Conference: Seeking Men “Whom the Hand of God Rests Upon” To Impact The World!
As Capitol Ministries completes plans for our annual autumn training conference, we are still seeking men who wish to mightily impact the world by taking the Word of God to political leaders in the United States and foreign nations.
This year, the U.S. State Capitol Annual Ministry Leaders Conference will be held Nov. 27-Dec. 1 at the beautiful Mt. Hermon Christian Conference Center in Mt. Hermon, CA.
Nestled amid spectacular redwoods and winding creeks, Mt. Hermon is in the Santa Cruz Mountains, minutes from the Pacific Ocean and Big Basin State Park. It provides a serene and tranquil setting for the conference’s objectives of praying, training, planning, and fellowship for individuals and couples attending. For more information, click here.
Capitol Ministries holds a training conference every year where new Ministry Leaders learn how to create sustainable Bible ministries to political leaders as well as have opportunities to better get to know their counterparts working in other states; and where existing Ministry Leaders may be strengthened, supported, and learn about CM developments.
This year Capitol Ministries is accepting applications for Ministry Leaders in the U.S. and in foreign nations to help fulfill the Great Commission. Click here to learn more.
Many Ministry Leaders work with their wives as teams. While this is encouraged and welcomed, working with a spouse is not a requirement to become a Ministry Leader; Many men work alone.
Ministry Leaders are Bible-teaching disciple-making evangelists who create ministries in government capitols where they weekly teach God’s Word and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with state legislators, judges, constitutional officers, and, in foreign nations, with parliamentarians.
Ministry Leaders are paired with Christian legislators who sponsor the weekly Bible studies and provide regular meeting places inside the halls of government.
“We are seeking proven, intentional, deliberate, biblically reliant disciple makers who are passionate about evangelism and about teaching the Word of God,” said Ralph Drollinger, President and Founder of Capitol Ministries. “Our leaders seek to be audacious and intrepid as the ministers in kings’ palaces (Proverbs 30:28).”
“We are looking for men whom it is obvious to all the hand of God rests upon.”
“Ministry Leaders offer support, counsel, and discipleship to Christian political leaders who often serve far from their homes, families, and home churches, and they evangelize those who do not know Christ.”
The annual conference also offers opportunities for relationship building which is vital to these ministries, said Perry Gauthier, CM North America Director and Vice President of Capitol Ministries.
Gauthier is also an experienced Ministry Leader, having led a discipleship Bible study to Nebraska legislators and a separate year-round study to capitol staff for 10 years.
“In addition to teaching the Word of God, Ministry Leaders also provide spiritual support, friendship, and pastoral counseling to Christian Public Servants in times of trials, temptations, family struggles, and other difficulties,” Gauthier said.
“Capitol Ministries’ intensely-biblical methodology has been meticulously honed and firetested through 22 years of ministry experience in U.S. capitols. The training is indispensable.”
The five-day training conference will include instruction on establishing Bible studies to elected officials, the value of discipleship and relationship building, and the importance of leading Public Servants toward maturity in Christ, among many other topics.
Capitol Ministries was birthed in 1996 by Ralph and Danielle Drollinger with a ministry to legislators at the Sacramento, CA Capitol. Since then CM has planted ministries to legislators in 43 states; three separate studies in Washington, D.C. to Members of the White House Cabinet, U.S. Senators, and Representatives, and in 24 foreign nations.
