After a Remarkable 2017, Capitol Ministries Invites New Partners to help Fulfill Ambitious 2018 Objectives!
With God’s blessings and His grace in fulfilling most everything we set out to accomplish, Capitol Ministries experienced a remarkable year of growth in 2017.
As 2017 dawned, Capitol Ministries fulfilled a 21-year objective when we began a White House Cabinet Member Bible study with many of the leading Cabinet Members.
As 2017 came to an end, Capitol Ministries is preparing to publish the 700-page tome, Oaks In Office, Biblical Essays for Political Leaders. A compilation of 52 of Capitol Ministries’ finest Bible studies, this will be the training curricula used by CivicReach® ministry leaders who will take the Gospel to local government leaders.
At the end of the year, Capitol Ministries was also in the final editing stages of the CivicReach® Training Video Series. These videos will equip new ministry leaders to begin effective ministries to local government leaders nationwide and, as they are translated into other languages, also around the world.
CM has also planted many new state capitol ministries in America. Watch for new ministries to launch in early 2018 in Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tennessee; Dover, Delaware; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Hartford, Connecticut; Little Rock, Arkansas, and Trenton, New Jersey. God has provided talented and skilled ministry leaders as well as partnering legislators to birth these new ministries in these state capitols.
What has been perhaps most remarkable in 2017 is the emergence of many new Capitol Ministries Global Regional Directors around the world. God has raised up wonderful, well-networked in their geographical areas, godly men to help CM plant many new ministries in foreign federal capitols. The fruit of these Global Regional Directors has been overwhelming! Combined, they are adding ministries around the globe at a much faster clip than Capitol Ministries has in the past 21 years in American state capitols. We thank God for this! The fields are white unto harvest overseas!
We prayerfully desire to add several additional strategic, in-depth Bible studies this coming year in Washington, D.C. In addition to our White House Cabinet, Senate, and House member-only Bible studies already underway and thriving, we envision a new study to White House Staff and one at Central Intelligence Agency headquarters. Please be praying with us in this regard.
We are working toward beginning new ministries in state capitols where effective ministries do not already exist. Those states include Iowa, Alaska, North Dakota, Montana, and several others. The originating objective we set 21 years ago remains intact: 50 ministries in 50 Capitols. Please be praying with us in this regard.
We desire to add at least two additional Global Regional Directors in 2018, Lord willing: One for the Caribbean Island nations and one or two for Asia. When accomplished, CM will have Regional Directors in 9 of the 10 geographical spheres of the world. At this time CM has no intentions to plant ministries in the Middle East countries. These Directors are tasked with finding national ministry leaders who will birth ministries in the federal capitals in their geographical area. Please be praying with us in this regard.
With the collateral materials soon to be in place for training and equipping CivicReach® leaders, our plans are to begin a massive, nationwide CivicReach® leader recruiting campaign. America desperately needs outposts for Christ — ministry leaders who are intent on making disciples of up and coming Public Servants in the 40,000 local governments across America! 2017 has been an extremely exciting year for Capitol Ministries and we have big plans for what we pray will be an outstanding 2018!
