Emerging from Roe V. Wade – the “deadliest, most evil Supreme Court opinion in America’s history” – Trent Franks Op-Ed
Former U.S. Rep Trent Franks, who served 15 years in Congress and was co-chairman of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, provides a tremendous historical and moral perspective on the horror of abortion in an Op-Ed piece in The Western Journal.
“In its 50th year of existence, Roe v. Wade, the deadliest and most evil Supreme Court opinion in America’s history — has fallen,” former Rep. Franks writes. “It is an unspeakable tragedy that for so many millions of [babies], help did not come in time.”
“Roe dismembered, disarticulated and barbarically wiped from the face of the earth more than 63 million of America’s most helpless children.”
In the Op-Ed, former Rep. Franks links abortion with slavery and government-sanctioned mass genocides —actions that were justified through man’s inexplicable capability to label fellow human beings as subhuman.
The fact that abortion advocates had long abandoned the argument of when life begins and positioned that it doesn’t matter if a human life is taken should be terrifying to us all, he wrote.
Looking to the future, Former Rep. Franks wrote that only after bringing an end to the “incomprehensible evil of the merciless mass annihilation of these most defenseless human beings“ can America begin to awaken and realize the “cataclysmic carnage and suffering” she has wrought.
Only then, perhaps, might our nation be able to help the rest of the world “emerge from the delusional fog of euphemisms and distortions cloaking abortion on demand.”
While in Congress former Rep. Franks worked tirelessly for the rights of unborn babies. Click here to read his stunning Op-Ed piece.
