Daniel Glymin
National Ministry LeaderGhana
Daniel’s professional background has uniquely prepared him for ministry among leaders. He earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB ) from the University of Wales Cardiff, United Kingdom, and qualified as a barrister of the Middle Temple. He is licensed to practice law in Ghana. Daniel is also a certified mediator and arbitrator. Alongside his legal career, Daniel has remained active in his local church as a lay preacher, and Sunday school teacher.
His experience ministering to professionals began long before Capitol Ministries. Following a conference organized by African Enterprise a Pan -African evangelistic organization in Accra in the 1990s, Daniel led a Bible study for lawyers and judges that met in the home of a local attorney. That experience helped shape his understanding of how Scripture can speak directly into the lives and responsibilities of those in positions of influence.
Daniel and his wife, Shula, have three adult children and one grandson.
Daniel began training with Capitol Ministries in 2016 and has participated in ministry training in Togo in West Africa, Washington, D.C., and South Africa. Through CapMin, he found practical direction for a calling he had already sensed from the Lord: ministering intentionally to political leaders.
That ministry has required patience as Daniel has led Bible studies with local government leaders and has spent years building relationships with some members of Parliament. For him, effective ministry begins with trust. “People need to know that we care about them before they listen to you” he explains. Daniel points to the example of Jesus, who first called His disciples to be with Him. In the same way, Daniel believes ministry to political leaders is not simply about presenting a Bible study or following an agenda; it begins by spending time with people, listening to what is on their hearts and genuinely caring for them.
Daniel believes the Bible should serve as a political leader’s compass. As leaders study and apply Scripture, he trusts they will make decisions shaped not merely by political pressure or public opinion, but by the will of God.
His prayer is that God will continue opening doors among Ghana’s national leaders and give him grace to persevere, and establish faithful Bible studies where political leaders can know Christ and grow as His disciples.
