We envision a nation in which every state capitol houses a biblically based ministry of evangelism and discipleship where elected officials and constitutional officers from all parties gather together to study the Word of God.
So far, Capitol Ministries has planted approximately 34 biblical ministries, including more than a dozen that we established last year alone. We are working hard in 2020 to launch and revitalize our Capitol Ministries all over the USA.
Our desire and prayer is to expand the influence of each state capitol ministry in the years ahead. This effort, to make disciples of Jesus Christ in the capitol communities of America, will be accomplished by adding ministry leaders in each capitol, incorporating ministry programs like Pastors’ Day At The Capitol®, and establishing additional Bible studies for staff and others.
There is so much more to be done! Jesus said in Matthew 9:36-38:
Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
