UPDATED: Four International Training Conferences in 2022/23: Reigniting The Bible’s Top-Down Missions Strategy
With God’s continued leading, Capitol Ministries will build upon the considerable growth we enjoyed in 2021 by hosting four International Recruiting and Training Conferences across the world in 2022.
“Even though 2021 was difficult in many respects due to Covid, Capitol Ministries was blessed with tremendous growth,” said Ralph Drollinger, CapMin President and Founder.
“In keeping with our long-term objectives to establish discipleship ministries to national leaders in 200 foreign countries, we have scheduled four international training conferences this coming year.”
With two new CapMin Global Directors named in late 2021, CapMin is well positioned for this overseas expansion. The international conferences will enable CapMin to train new ministry leader recruits—not only how to launch ministries for national leaders—but also how to launch ministries for regional and local public servants in foreign nations.
CapMin has already established national ministries in 43 countries and is in the process of planting 28 new foreign federal capital ministries. We have also launched dozens of ministries to local leaders in several foreign nations, mainly across Europe.
In the latter part of 2021, CapMin named Slavik Rimski as Global Director for Western and Eastern Europe, and Brian Solomon as Global Director for North America. As with other global directors, these men are charged with growing the ministry in their geographical locations. We’ll tell you more about the new directors in subsequent ministry updates.
“It goes without saying that both men are strong believers and each possesses the passion and skills that are necessary to further the Capitol Ministries mission to create disciples of Jesus Christ in political arenas throughout the world,” Drollinger said.
These men join Oscar Zamora, Global Director for Latin America (and acting Director for the Caribbean), Inoke Kubabola, Global Director for the South Pacific, and Jon Cassel, Global Director for Africa. CapMin is seeking Global Directors for the Caribbean and Asia.
Capitol Ministries’ intensely-biblical methodology which will be taught at the conferences, has been meticulously honed and fire tested over more than 25 years of ministry experience to public servants. The training is indispensable.
Instruction will be given on how to launch discipleship Bible studies, biblical teaching methods, the value of discipleship and relationship building, the priority of evangelism, the importance of leading public servants toward maturity in Christ, among many other topics. Conferences are also designed to build relationships between Capitol Ministries leaders and cast worldwide vision for CapMin’s mission.
Ministry leaders will also learn about top-down missional strategy wherein God’s Word teaches us that political leaders – kings and all who are in authority – should be “first in priority” to reach with the Word of God.
Drollinger noted that in addition to building God’s kingdom in heaven societal change occurs through changing one heart at a time with the gospel of Jesus Christ, not through political activism and lobbying.
“When you see positive occurrences in a nation, or negative policies being blocked in a nation, it is almost always attributable to strong-in-Christ political leaders!” Drollinger said. “This should not surprise us, given what Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 regarding the priority of winning and building public servants in Christ. After all, God’s Word states clearly in this passage that that is the most apt means by which we will lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity in the here and now.”
First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
Conferences are scheduled for:
Panama City, Panama | October 3-7
Cape Town, South Africa | October 19-23
Suva, Fiji | November 28 – December 3
Brussels, Belgium | June 26-29, 2023
“I ask that our friends, prayer partners and supporters pray for these conferences, that God will do the ministry leader recruitment, that doors across the capitals of the world will continue to open to His Word, and that Capitol Ministries teams will be faithful to carry out the mandate of the Great Commission to the leaders of the world,” Drollinger said. “Our mission is to make disciples, not converts.”
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16-20).
