CapMin Set to Launch in Five New National Capitols in May: Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, and Bhutan

Dear Friends,

As Capitol Ministries continues to carry out its mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena throughout the world, we invite you to join us in focused prayer during the month of May. The Lord has opened doors for five ministry launches across South Asia and Africa—each representing a strategic opportunity to reach those with the Word of God in respective high positions of governing authority.

Over the course of just two weeks, our global teams will be establishing new ongoing Bible-teaching ministries in the following locations:

• Seychelles—East African Islands Launch
  Victoria · May 4-5
• Sri Lanka—South Asia Launch
  Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte · May 6–7
• Zimbabwe—Africa Ministry Launch
  Harare · May 8–9
• Bangladesh—South Asia Launch
  Dhaka · May 8–9
• Bhutan—South Asia Launch
  Thimphu · May 10–11

Each of these launches involves more than an event—it marks the beginning of a recurrent, expository Bible study ministry aimed at evangelizing and discipling national leaders. These efforts are the result of months—and in some cases years—of relationship building, training, and preparation by faithful national leaders and Capitol Ministries staff. Scroll to the bottom of capmin.org to see all of the launches planned this year.

As Scripture reminds us, The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes (Proverbs 21:1). With this in mind, we ask you to stand with us in prayer for the following:

• That God would prepare the hearts of government officials who will attend and participate in these launch events and inaugural Bible studies.
• That the national leaders facilitating these ministries would proclaim the Word with clarity, conviction, and love.
• That these new ministries would become deep rooted in their capitals and bear lasting spiritual fruit among those in authority.
• That the Lord would grant protection, unity, and logistical success throughout each launch.

This concentrated season of expansion reflects the Lord’s continued favor on the ministry and His desire that the Gospel reach especially the highest levels of leadership in every nation.
